Our story

I-CARE started as a WhatsApp collective of ISRO employees during the devastating Kerala floods in 2018. After spearheading multiple philanthropic activities, it was formally registered as a charitable trust registered under Indian Charitable Trust Act in 2019 (Reg No: 118/19- Kazhakootam- Kerala) . Since registration all transactions are audited by Charted accountants & income tax filing is also done. Our focus areas includes health, education & emergency support

About us

HOW WE HELP

Over the years, we have focused on giving financial assistance to underprivileged people within & outside ISRO. We regularly support poor students, medical emergency cases, ISRO contract employees. I-CARE collects contributions as monthly subscriptions or one-time payments from ISRO serving/retired employees. I-CARE also accepts requests for financial aid from needy people. The requests for monetary assistance are reviewed monthly by the Executive Committee and based on the merit amount is sanctioned. Occasionally, we also have campaigns for specific requirements.
